Faculty Hiring Resource: OnBase

All faculty appointments, including hiring, are processed through OnBase.  Reappointments, appointments to a chair, and P.h.D. certifications are processed by the Dean's Office; all other appointment activities, including hiring, are initiated by the department in OnBase.

Request for Appointment Form

The Provost's Office implemented a new process for submitting a Request for Appointment Form through OnBase. Since this is a relatively new process the Dean's Office has created the training guides linked below to help simplify the steps. These guides will show you how to:

• Create/Submit a Request for Appointment Form
• Edit a Request for Appointment Form that has NOT been approved by the supervisor, chair, or associate dean
• Edit a Request for Appointment Form that HAS been approved by someone
• Delete a Request for Appointment Form that has NOT been approved
• Delete a Request for Appointment Form that HAS been approved
