The Arts & Letters Inclusion and Belonging Committee invites all A&L staff to its newly launched Lunch and Learn series intended to promote a culture that embraces differences, values everyone’s humanity and dignity, and models inclusive practices.

Eve Kelly, executive director for institutional transformation and staff belonging in the Office of Transformational Leadership, will kick off the series 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, in the Initiative on Race and Resilience Sojourner Truth Commons on the third floor of O'Shaughnessy Hall.

Kelly has a bachelor’s degree in Africana studies and a master’s in social work, and is pursuing a doctorate in diversity and equity in education. She also is a singer and multi-instrumentalist.

Attendees are asked to bring their own lunch. Beverages and cookies will be provided.

Additional lunch-and-learn events are planned throughout the year. Anyone interested in joining the committee, and/or wanting to recommend a speaker, contact Bridget Fields at bnoonan1@nd.edu.
