Faculty Mini-Retreat — “Encountering the Word Made Beautiful: The Art of The Saint John’s Bible”
This mini-retreat will feature commentary on the creation of The Saint John’s Bible, a hand-written, hand-illuminated Bible created in the 21st century using ancient techniques and handmade tools, as well as a discussion on how the calligraphy and the illuminations bring the Word of God to life for a modern audience. Facilitator: Carolyn Pirtle.
