Talking points: Mental health focus, common issues faced by the adolescent population in school, solutions to combat feelings of anxiety, implementing healthy behaviors and positive behavioral change 

Dr. Richard Chung 

Dr. Chung is the Section Chief of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Duke University  Medical Center and is a professor of internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Chung also serves as  the Medical Director of the Duke Center for Eating Disorders. He is board certified in Pediatrics,  Internal Medicine, and Adolescent Medicine. His clinical and research interests center on  preventive and chronic disease care of adolescents and young adults. Dr. Chung has research  and clinical experience in understanding ways to improve adolescent health through behavioral  change, particularly in the context of chronic illness. As part of these efforts, Dr. Chung helps  lead efforts at Duke to improve transitional care for adolescents with special health care needs.
