Terminating Summer Jobs
On July 7 we will add an effective termination date of August 15, 2025 to summer hourly positions. After the termination date is added, you may no longer make changes to summer positions; please make adjustments now as appropriate.
Academic Year Processing
Student Jobs entry for the academic year is scheduled to begin July 11. Academic year positions may not be entered before this date. You may access the 2026/2027 Job Start and End Dates on the Student Jobs website.
Hourly Pay Rates
The University starting pay rate for non-tipped hourly student positions is $15 per hour for the 2026/2027 academic year. More information on hourly pay rates is on the Student Jobs website.
As a reminder, the University of Notre Dame prefers that undergraduate students be hired as hourly employees instead of stipend employees. Undergraduate students can only be hired for stipend positions by exception.
