Please join Building Services in our 4th year participating in International Cleaning Week, as we recognize the value and importance of our professional cleaning staff and their work which is crucial in providing a clean and safe environment for the campus community.
Our custodial teams are responsible for cleaning 135 buildings spanning almost 7 million cleanable square feet of campus, providing service 24/7. In addition, staff rise to cleaning challenges associated with special events such as athletic competitions, commencement, student moves, concerts, and more.
This past January, the Dignity of Work mural was unveiled at Geddes Hall, showcasing Building Services staff. It is a permanent installation reminding us of the daily essential, often hidden, work staff perform.
We hope you will join us in taking a moment to thank the custodial team in your building.
