In Spring 2024, your candid and thoughtful feedback in the Pulse Survey was instrumental in shaping our initiatives. Your input has directly led to the implementation of the following action items:
- Expanded Training – Annual training calendar with sessions on faculty administration, hiring, financial processes, and more (with materials available afterward).
- Academy 101 – Onboarding resource for those new to higher education, covering university structure and common questions.
- Administrative Calendar – Centralized due dates and reminders, shared via AL Resources, newsletters, and chair communications.
- Dean’s Office Resource Page – “Who does what” guide to help staff quickly find the right contact.
- Improved Communication – More updates on processes and procedures, plus regular Administration Meetings to strengthen service and clarity.
We are now launching the Fall 2025 Pulse Survey to understand where we have improved since Spring 2024 and what still needs attention. This survey also includes new opportunities to share what feels meaningful to you — including how the Dean’s Office can continue to engage and support staff in ways that matter most, even within very limited non-essential spending guidelines.
