Join us for the Fall Beloved Community Gathering: Remembrance, an afternoon of connection and gratitude in recognition of Día de los Muertos. Together, we will honor the memory of those who came before us—those who loved us into being—and reflect on the gifts of gratitude they have left us.
Keynote speaker April Garcia will invite us into meaningful conversations around each table’s ofrenda (altar), where we will share stories of our loved ones and the ways they shaped our lives.
As we share pan de muerto, hot chocolate, and a Latin buffet lunch, we will continue building bridges with one another through personal connection, shared experiences, and heartfelt moments that remind us we are, indeed, beloved. Inspired by the vision of Dr. King’s Beloved Community, this gathering is an opportunity to deepen relationships across campus rooted in dignity, belonging, and compassion.
All Notre Dame faculty and staff are welcome to attend. You do not need Mexican heritage to participate—this is a space for everyone to learn, honor, and celebrate together.
Registration is required. Please register by Friday, October 17th!
