Training Overview:
Led by Alicia Sachau, Assistant Director of Academic Conferences, and Kayla Jewell, Event Specialist—both from the Franco Family Institute for Liberal Arts and the Public Good—this session will offer practical guidance and helpful insights into planning successful events at Notre Dame.
Topics will include:
- An overview of unique and versatile campus event spaces—including those that do not require rental fees
- Information on using preferred external vendors (outside of campus catering)
- General best practices for planning and executing events
- Common challenges with specific campus spaces and how to address them
- A brief introduction to the event portal and planning events in UOES-managed spaces
