On Friday, February 28 (12:00 - 12:45 pm), ISLA will host a virtual information session on the Research Innovation Collaboratives program. As outlined in the call for proposals, "these collaboratives encourage research outside of departmental and institutional confines so that participants can radically reimagine the way their work can inform, influence, and inspire innovative scholarship. Each collaborative will consist of a group of scholars pursuing a core question (or small set of closely related questions). Collaboratives will foster research, teaching, and outreach, deepening connections across disciplines, and bringing the insights of the liberal arts to public life."
The webinar will include:
- An overview of the primary goals and application requirements of the program
- Perspectives from the Principal Investigators of some of our currently funded labs
- Tips for preparing competitive applications
- A question-and-answer session
