Miles Folsom headshot. A smiling young man wearing glasses, a navy peacoat, and a patterned tie stands on the University of Notre Dame campus. A building with a reddish-brown roof and large windows is visible in the background.

Miles Folsom is a former prisoner turned advocate for criminal justice reform. Sentenced to 36 years at 16, he transformed his life through education. Released in 2020, he created an NGO, Invested Youth. In 2022, he became the Valedictorian of Holy Cross College. He now works as a public speaker.

Miles shares a remarkable story that encompasses a rare glimpse into the state of a human beset by both good and evil. His entanglement with criminality came early, leading to his quick demise. Once in prison, however, he persevered. He spent all his waking time seeking education and freedom.

Bring a lunch and learn more about about Miles’ journey. Dessert and beverages will be provided.
